Every ministry has a sound. Ours has hymns and kettle whistles and the soft thump of a tail against the floor. Before Love Your Legacy had pages and plans, it had a home, and in that home live two of the smallest and most faithful members of the family. This corner belongs to them.
Legacy is usually talked about in big words. Here it is smaller and warmer than that. It is a golden dog asleep with her head near your feet. It is a kitten who believes the whole house was arranged for her comfort, and in her defence, most of it was. Love leaves itself in people, yes. Some days it also leaves paw prints across a clean floor, and we have decided that counts.
Meet Ginger
Ginger is our golden retriever, and her heart is exactly what her breed promises. She is gentle, derpy, and just a little bit silly. She is also a mother at heart. When Shadow was a tiny kitten, Ginger nursed her and raised her as her own.
Meet Shadow
Shadow is our adolescent tabby kitten, cute, cuddly, and wonderfully chill. She hunts flies like it is her calling, watches bears and raccoons through the window, and still curls up with Ginger, the dog who became her mom.
This is their corner. Their stories will live here, one wag and one whisker at a time.
Come back and visit them. They will be here. One of them will be asleep on the other one.
