Prayer
Prayer is simply talking with God — honestly, simply, and often. Whether you are celebrating, struggling, or somewhere in between, He is listening. And we would be honored to pray with you.
This Christmas
A Prayer, Written for You
Christmas is not merry for everyone. For some it is an empty chair, a quiet house, a family far away, or a heart carrying more than it says out loud. You do not have to carry it alone. Send us your Christmas prayer request, and we will pray for you by name. Then a written prayer will come back to you, prayed over you and written for you, to keep and read again on the hard nights. Every request is held close and never shared. Requests close December 15, so every prayer is home before Christmas Eve.

How to Pray
Come as you are. No fancy words needed. Talk to Him like a Father who loves you, and tell Him what is really going on, not the polished version. Listen too. Prayer is a conversation, not a speech. When you are done, just say Amen. That is it. You are praying. Find your quiet place. It does not have to be fancy. A corner chair, a prayer closet, a walk around the block, the car before you go inside. Jesus slipped away to quiet places, and so can you. Bring your Bible, a notebook, a sketch pad, some art supplies, a favorite book, maybe a cup of tea. Put the phone in another room. Light a candle if you like. Play soft music if it helps you settle. Keep a few favorite things nearby, whatever makes the place feel like yours. Then just begin. You do not have to pray alone. Asking someone for prayer is simple. Just tell them what is going on and say, would you pray for me? Most people are honored to be asked. When you pray with someone, keep it simple. Hold their hand if they want. Pray out loud in your own words. You can take turns, or one person can pray while the other agrees quietly. Then say Amen together.
