Darlene Zschech
WORSHIP
Darlene Zschech is the Australian worship leader whose song taught a generation to shout to the Lord. She wrote “Shout to the Lord” in a hard season, with a young family and financial worry pressing in, and reached for Psalm 100 instead.
The song has since been sung by millions of churchgoers every week. Worry wrote the first draft; joy finished it.

THE VERSE BEHIND THE SONG
“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.”
