WORSHIP
Bethel Music is a worship community out of Redding, California, whose songs carry the sound of heaven into ordinary rooms. Their music has taught churches everywhere to sing with hope in the middle of the storm.
Two of their songs walk beside verses on this site. “It Is Well” with Kristene DiMarco, from the album You Make Me Brave, and “Goodness of God” with Jenn Johnson, from the album Victory.
“It Is Well”
Bethel Music & Kristene DiMarco, from You Make Me Brave (Live), 2014
THE VERSE BEHIND THE SONG
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
“Goodness of God”
Bethel Music & Jenn Johnson, from Victory (Live), 2019
THE VERSE BEHIND THE SONG
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
